Walk-In Shower Room – Rural Barn Conversion

This bespoke walk-in shower room was designed and installed as part of a rural barn conversion, combining natural materials with practical performance.

The walls are finished in natural slate, creating depth, texture, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Underfoot, a blend of Welsh slate and hand-laid pebble flooring provides both visual contrast and a durable, slip-resistant surface.

The space is enhanced with underfloor heating, delivering consistent warmth and comfort throughout the year, particularly suited to the solid stone finishes.

Black fittings and fixtures have been selected to create a sharp contrast against the slate, while complementing the exposed oak beams, which add character and reflect the heritage of the building.

The result is a shower space that feels grounded, functional, and in keeping with the rural setting, while still delivering a clean and well-executed modern finish.
