This project involved the construction of a bespoke timber-framed garage, built to provide a strong, durable structure ready for external finishing.
The frame was constructed using 6x2 structural timber, forming a solid and accurate shell with careful attention to alignment and load distribution. The roof structure was designed and installed to create a clean, well-supported pitch, ready for final covering.
Externally, the building was sheathed in OSB board and finished with cement board cladding, providing a stable and weather-resistant base ready to receive stone slip finishes. This approach ensures both durability and flexibility in achieving a high-end final appearance.
A key feature of the project is the set of bespoke garage doors, manufactured in-house within our workshop. These were built to suit the opening precisely, maintaining consistency in quality and allowing full control over the final finish.
The result is a well-constructed, purpose-built garage that combines practical structural methods with a clear pathway to a premium external finish, suited to its rural setting.
